Dr. Sincy Treesa Joseph

Consultant Psychiatrist
MBBS, MD Psychiatry

Dr. Sincy is a psychiatrist trained at St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, where she completed her MBBS and MD in Psychiatry. Early in her career, she spent time providing mental health care in underserved rural communities in South India- an experience that shaped how closely she listens to the everyday realities behind a one's symptoms.

Wanting to understand health more holistically, she went on to pursue a Fellowship in Family Medicine after her MBBS, which deepened her ability to see mental and physical wellbeing as deeply connected. She has also pursued a Foundation Course in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, bridging the space between psychotherapy and psychiatry in her practice. This allows her to look beyond symptoms alone, to the deeper emotional patterns and life experiences that often lie beneath them.

Dr. Sincy has a special interest in working with Adolescents and Young Adults, and has developed a strong focus on Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders in children and adults, as well as Trauma and related Disorders alongside conditions like Depression, Anxiety disorders, Bipolar disorder and Substance-Use Disorders. Her approach is gentle yet thorough, taking the time to understand a person fully before arriving at any answers. Her training across psychiatry, family medicine, and psychotherapy allows her to approach each person with a wide, thoughtful lens. At the heart of her practice is a simple belief, that, healing begins the moment someone feels truly heard.
