Ms. Hitankshi Trivedi

Hitankshi Trivedi is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with over 4 years of diverse clinical experience. She has completed her M.Sc from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and M.Phil Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS, where she was awarded gold medal in recognition of her exemplary clinical skills. She has also completed Advanced Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) training accredited by Anna Freud Centre, under the guidance of Prof. Anthony Bateman. Her work is grounded in providing safe, empathetic and collaborative care to suit client’s individual needs.
She adopts a process-based approach, aimed at looking beyond symptom-reduction and facilitating meaningful growth and change. As part of the perinatal mental health team, she is actively involved in working with antenatal and postpartum concerns such as pregnancy-related challenges, post-partum depression and post-partum anxiety. She is currently involved in building an integrated group for post-partum mothers, drawing elements from physiotherapy and skill building to provide holistic care.
She specializes in working with individuals with personality vulnerabilities and various clinical presentations such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, ADHD, grief and complex trauma. In addition, she is also involved in comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adults to address intellectual difficulties (IQ), specific learning disability (SLD), and ADHD.
Along with providing psychotherapy, she finds herself strongly inclined towards academia and research. Her research interests include psychotherapy processes, perinatal mental health, and neuropsychological underpinnings of behaviour. She is actively involved in perinatal research at The Green Oak Initiative.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
