Ms. Nishitha Gokulapati

Clinical Psychologist
MA in Applied Psychology, M.Phil Clinical Psychology

Nishitha Gokulapati is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over two years of clinical training across a range of therapeutic approaches and client needs. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada, and brings a multicultural outlook to her work, helping her connect with clients from many different backgrounds. She works with individual adult clients and believes that the relationship between therapist and client is central to what makes therapy work — a real, collaborative connection where clients feel genuinely seen and understood.

Her approach draws on a mix of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic and narrative approaches, and attachment-based work, looking beyond symptoms to understand each client's story, relationships, and patterns. She is trauma-informed and compassion-focused in her practice, paying close attention to safety and pacing so that therapy feels supportive rather than overwhelming, especially when clients are working through painful experiences.

Her areas of interest include relationships, work-related stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, grief, and ADHD. She sees therapy as an ongoing, evolving process and continues to build her skills so she can better support the people she works with. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, travelling, and adventure sports.
