Devanshi Goradia

Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist
MSc. Clinical Psychology (Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore), M.Phil Clinical Psychology (PGI, Raipur)

Devanshi Goradia is an individual and couple psychotherapist, and supervisor with over seven years of experience. She has advanced training in couple and family dynamics from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and The Bower Place, Australia. She is a Level II Certified Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) practitioner and is trained in Inner Relationship Focusing. Her work is grounded in a process-oriented, experiential, emotion-focused, and relational approach.

She sees being human as beautifully complicated, while the outer world grows louder, our inner world often speaks in whispers through our emotions, bodily sensations, and relationships. She sees therapy as a collaborative space to slow down and build the capacity to listen to, tolerate, and make sense of our inner world. In her work with couples, she helps partners understand recurring patterns of communication and relationships through emotional, familial, and cultural lenses, fostering clarity, trust, and understanding. Her areas of specialization include violence and abuse, attachment injuries, personality vulnerabilities, life transitions, and complex emotional and relational experiences. She also has a particular interest in queer, men's, and women's mental health through gender-informed and underexplored perspectives.

Her previous work includes developing an early identification tool for psychological difficulties among underprivileged adolescents at SNEHA and working in the field of violence against women at NIMHANS. She has also trained counselors from One-Stop Centres across India and served as a lecturer and guest faculty.

Outside the therapy room, she enjoys fiction, films, beaches, and scuba diving.
